Who is eligible for this program?
Any founding team can apply, provided at least one member is affiliated with SSE. Affiliation includes a current student, an alumni, or a member of the SSE faculty/staff.
What is the time commitment?
We run a 10-week program, and the spring batch runs from Feb 13-Apr 29.
What if it’s just me and I don’t yet have a co-founder? Can I still apply?
No, we only accept teams into our programs, which means you need to have at least one co-founder.
How large are your SSE Business Lab cohorts?
We keep our cohorts intentionally small so we can really dive in with our founders. The maximum number of teams we’ll accept is 15 for each program start.
Is my industry eligible for the program?
We are industry agnostic and accept any idea that meets our criteria, regardless of the industry. The exceptions are pure consulting/service firms, venture capital firms, and ideas that don't abide by the SSE Business Lab ethical guidelines (e.g. no alcohol or betting ventures).
