Apply Now

The Incubate program is designed to help ventures with a scalable product or service and international potential to grow and scale. Accepted teams will receive six months of support, with the opportunity to extend the program for up to 18 months. Being accepted into the Incubate program means you might be eligible for an investment from SSE Ventures, consisting of at least 300,000 SEK. Teams will receive personal support, office space, access to a network of entrepreneurs, investors, and talent, as well as workshops on relevant topics.

Throughout the program, teams will have the opportunity to pitch to angel investors and VC firms at the SSE Business Lab Demo Day and Investor Office Hours. Eligible startups can also receive funding from organizations such as Vinnova, Innovationskontoret, and Grosshandelsocieteten to cover costs related to growing their business with external expertise. Additionally, student-run startups can participate in the Brighter Program's visits around the world.

  2. Short feedback explaining why you didn’t move forward this time.

Because of the high interest lately, only the most promising applications are invited to a check-in meeting. If you receive one, it means we see real potential and want to dig deeper into your case. You won’t need to prepare anything newthe meeting is a chance for us to ask questions and better understand your team and idea

If you don’t get a meeting, please don’t be discouraged. Many of our most successful startups were not admitted on their first try. With three application rounds each year, and year-round Open Coaching sessions (see Step 0), there are many opportunities to refine your case and apply again.

Content of application

The first step is to fill out our application form. In it, you’ll share some practical details about your team and company, and upload a document that explains your case. We know that early founders are often more focused on talking to customers than designing slides. A simple document that explains your case is enough.

If you’d like some guidance on what we look for during the review process, here are the key questions we aim to answer when evaluating applications. These can give you a clearer sense of how we approach our decisions and what aspects of your submission are most important to us.
